Time Travel: The Day I Skipped a Week

Friday May 30th I had an OB/GYN appt (I'm going in every other week at this point). They wanted to look at fetal growth so I had an ultrasound before meeting with the Dr. This is the only shot I was sent home with: Baby Face

Baby has a big round head & tummy. All the parts are there. 

Anyway, during my visit after with the Dr, he remarked how baby was very big. In fact they moved my due date from July 26th to the 20th. He also said they would probably advise induction before that date because of the delicate balance between blood thinners & clot prevention before birth & stopping it in time to prevent excessive bleeding during/after birth. 

Going from thinking "oh I've got two months to get stuff ready" to "crap! baby might be here in 6 weeks!" feels like quite the leap!

So nesting is in full effect. We've started packing the hospital bag, registered with the hospital, pulled out my nursing tops, & been finalizing the nursery...
