For Labor Day this year we decided to clean up the condo and get out of town (we are wearing thin of the constant cleaning that comes with having your place on the market). We had hoped to visit Seattle but it seemed every hotel was already booked for the weekend! Eek! So we joined Grammy & Grandad at Eagle Crest for the weekend. It was so much fun, & so relaxing!
We went to the High Desert Museum
We went swimming
We paddled around Hosmer Lake
Arthur liked hanging over the side and running his fingers through the water as we floated along. He hung over the edge like that for over an hour
building a tower
playing in the sink
watching the golfers
saying "turtle" for the 1st time
running away per usual
digging for fossils
testin out the outhouse
fish!
soaring like eagles
driving the dino truck

Until he fell asleep
Our friends the Treats gifted us a Topeak child seat for the bike. Arthur LOVED it! I think he liked sitting up high, vs low in a bike trailer. He was all smiles. Except that he wanted to be sure we stuck together, otherwise he kept asking for "mama"
We ended with a dip in the hot tub! As always, I loved the time at Eagle Crest, spent as a family!
