For our 1st full day in Amsterdam we followed Rick Steve's Audio guide and did a walking tour of the city.

I don't have many pictures from this day for several reasons:- it. was. hot. Like the air was thick and our skin was sticky
- I got all barfy. Literally. We all commented that the air felt heavy and we were short of breath. This eventually got to me and I had to sit on the filthy side of the road, where I almost barfted, to catch my breath. It was embarrassing and it sucked. But don't worry- I recovered and tour resumed.
- It's not as easy to take photos when you are carting a baby around. Your mind and hands are otherwise engaged.
- We were walking around with our iPhones hooked up to headphones listening to the tour- already more electronics than I could manage at one time.
We stopped to listen to these street performers- Arthur loved it. He got very serious and tried to imitate their capoiera-style dancing. He even leaned over, put one hand on the ground & lifted his foot up into the air. He has added this move to his repertoire of dance moves.
