Friday we gathered up our things & hit the road!
facing forward!
Arthur fell asleep immediately. It was nice to be on the open road. Speeding down the autobahn, admiring the countryside...
Our room had a little bed ready for Arthur. Cute, eh?
We got all gussied up then went to the GORGEOUS church to rehearse
this was before he fell... (tell you in a minute)
While everyone gathered in front, Arthur wanted to walk up and down the stairs to the church. He didn't want me to hold his hand so I couldn't catch him fast enough when he tripped. He slashed his poor little nose on the rough rock steps! Poor buddy.
after fall but it doesn't look bad yet
so lovely
There were four of these entombed saints in the church. Like right there, in the room we were all sitting in. Arthur kept pointing at them and saying "baby?" "night night?"
We stopped at an Apoteke on the way to dinner (a German Pharmacy- you can't buy medication anywhere over the counter- you have to buy it from a pharmacist) to get Arthur some antiseptic and Neosporin for his nose.
Then we parked the car, walked across the river, and we were in Austria!
we're headed for the yellow building with green framed windows
We hung out on the deck, with a gorgeous view of the river and the castle- THE CASTLE where the reception would be the next day!

groomsmen
Bass girls
The food & the venue were amazing! We had several incredible courses and Arthur even kept it together long enough for Ryan & I to have dessert!
