The Big Birthday Boy

After much anticipation, we celebrated Arthur's 1st birthday with a party.

To accommodate the invite list, we held it at the Multnomah Arts Center just down the way from us.

It was a great little space for a party!

 Arthur was late to his own party... he woke up from a nap & wound up in a room full of... PARTY!

After warming up, he had a grand old time!

The kids had fun with the balloons!

 I think the birthday boy had a good time

 

Hopefully so did everyone else!

 After watching the slideshow, Arthur got to eat his muffin- it was by far my favorite part!

Unky Sean shows Arthur how to play his very OWN guitar!

love at 1st sight

 Arthur has been carrying around his little guitar, a gift from Great Grandmother Pat, ever since. He won't let anyone take it from him. It's hard to pick up other toys while you are holding it, huh little buddy? But still he clutches it in the car and even took it with him to Grammy's today. A musician in the making?
