Arthur's Book Picks of the Year

I have said before I had hoped we could raise a reader. We read to Arthur in the womb. And to him when he was a wee newborn. His shelves are stocked with books. And I'm so very happy with how much he likes to read his books! But there are certainly some favorites.

Here are Arthur's picks from his 1st year of reading:

The top all-time favorites are listed here, in order of when he decided they would be his go-tos:

1. There's A Wocket In My Pocket by Dr Seuss
2. Peek-a-who by Nina Laden
3. 10 Little Ladybugs by Melanie Gerth
4. From Head to Toe by Eric Carle

Also in the running:

• Wheels On The Bus, A Raffi Song illustrated by Sylvie Kantorovitz Wickstrom
• The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
• Go, Dog, Go! By P.D. Eastman
• and the pictures in The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper (An Abridged Version)
