It has been quite the process getting to this point,
but we finally have a Nursery that is ready for a little one,
whenever he/she arrives.
With all big changes there have been "growing pains".
We lost our guest room.
Ryan lost his giant desk and "man cave".
We moved a lot of stuff out and carried many things in.

Now the room has a completely new look...
First we moved the futon out
(thank you Margot & Jon for giving it a good home)
The space looked so empty!
Then there is often chaos before order...
Ryan packed up his desk and said goodbye to his dude space.
(Thank you Sarah & Jake for giving the desk a good home)
However he ended up with this (in the dining area)

The Baby's Space
This was Ryan's blanket as a child:
followed by Andrea & then Scott when we were babes
(don't worry, it's all coming off when baby really sleeps in the crib-
nothing but a sheet to prevent SIDS)
The crib was slept in by all 3 of cousin Jeff & Karen's little girls
Kourt made this adorable banner for my baby shower,
and it makes a terrific Welcome Baby banner on the wall!

I also couldn't resist this glowing mushroom-
So the nursery is just about ready.
And...
We took all the classes.
We've packed the hospital bag.
The car seat has been installed.
And my belly feels fit to burst.
We are ready to meet this baby,
whenever he/she decides to join us
(but let's hope we have a few more weeks!)!
