We made it!
It was a long stretch of travel but went rather smoothly, and we were then graciously met at the Munich airport by Kevin.
After freshening up, we had the pleasure of partaking in some day to day German activities such as taking out the recycling,

picking up beverages,going grocery shopping,
and stopping by the bakery.
Once Katja got off work, we made our way in on the U-bahn to Munich proper to explore the city. We saw all kinds of lovely sights and due to the nice weather on a Friday afternoon, there was plenty of people watching.
