I'm having major blog issues y'all. My app isn't working right, the iPad is causing me grief, & Ryan's laptop belongs to work which makes downloading photos tricky. Anyway, bear with me... And you get to experience our day in reverse because I don't have time to fix this goofy upload.
We had a slower start this morning. We finally got going and hopped a bus to Camden and waked to the ZSL London Zoo. We wandered it willy nilly, stopping for snacks, loosing each other, and finally our feet wore out before we'd seen it all and we walked out in to Regent's Park. It was lovely, too bad we didn't have enough energy left to spend some real time here.
We split up, the boys heading home for dinner in and bath time, while the girls hoofed it off to tea! We had a proper tea with all the luxuries- sandwiches with the crusts cut off, scones with jam and clotted cream, and an assortment of delicate desserts. Also bellinis! It was lovely. We took two hours, savoring every moment.
Then we strolled the shopping streets of Carnaby and Regents, window shopping.
We walked to the National Gallery, on Trafalgar Square, where we checked out the galleries of famous paintings.
Tired from the long day, we made our way back on the bus where we found the boys enjoying beers on the couch, the little ones tucked in to bed.
