I CAN'T BELIEVE we've had our joyful little Chestnut in our world for half a year already! It's hard to believe as it doesn't seem that long ago since I was pregnant and waiting for him. Conversations with Arthur make it seem that he can't really remember a time before his brother either.
He has been trying out rice cereal & really enjoys it. He's been swimming. He is sitting briefly independently and for extended amounts of time with support. He is very communicative with his whines, smiles, and all over body jiggle when he's excited. He is wearing 9 & 12 month size clothing. We are transitioning him slowly to the crib, and he sleeps in it typically from 7 until about 10:30 pm.
At his 6 month well-child check up we found that he has a 17 5/8" head circumference putting him in the 85th percentile
His length is 28", the 95th percentile
His weight is 17 lbs and 2.5 oz for the 45th percentile
That puts him in the 10th percentile for height to weight
